I loved every single moment hanging out with Ben and his mom, Jeanne, for his senior session. From the very beginning, the day was filled with great conversation, thoughtful moments, and so much personality. We talked about Doctor Who, his love for theater, and all the things that make Ben uniquely him.
Ben truly has an old soul. He is kind, thoughtful, and one of the most polite seniors I have ever had the pleasure of working with. His calm presence and genuine nature made the entire session feel relaxed and meaningful, and it was such a joy getting to know him better throughout the day.
If you happened to catch my stories yesterday, you probably noticed that part of Ben’s senior session took place at the zoo. This was a first for me, and I absolutely loved it. The zoo brought such a fun and unexpected element to his senior photos, and honestly, I could have spent hours there photographing him. At some point, though, we had to accept that we could not stay forever.
I did have two specific photo requests during our time at the zoo. One was by the bears near the splash pad, and the other was in Discovery Bay. Both locations felt like perfect fits for Ben’s session, and I truly hope I did those images justice. Incorporating meaningful locations like this always adds an extra layer of storytelling to senior photos.
Thank you so much to Ben and Jeanne for such a wonderful day. This session was thoughtful, creative, and incredibly memorable, and I am so excited to share more from Ben’s Class of 2026 senior session soon.
