I had the privilege of hanging out with a couple of my 2022 seniors for a cap and gown mini session or college swag mini session. It was fun to hang out them once more before they head off to college in the fall and chat about the next chapter in their lives.
This girl loves music, probably more than I do, she’s in marching band and plays at least 3 different instruments, one of which she brought to her session to have in a couple of her photos.
From chatting with her throughout her session, she has of love of not just music from her generation but also, “retro” music, like that of The Beatles and artists from the ’50s.
I think this session might be one of my favorite senior sessions of the year. Lindsey brought her mama and future sister-in-law to her session and I cannot tell you how many times I had to stop from photographing Lindsey to finish laughing at something her mom or her sister-in-law was doing to make Lindsey laug
Every senior session I book, I have my seniors fill out questionnaire, to get to know them a little better before we spend time together. Luke’s questionnaire mentioned that he has a love of collecting records and T-Swift aka Taylor Swift.
Zoe blew me away during her senior session. Not only did she nail everything I asked her to do for poses, but she also told me she’s finishing her high school career at three different schools. DANG!
Not gonna lie, I probably said, “Oh my gosh Ruby!! You are so pretty!”, and squealed with delight, about 2943 times throughout this session with my niece. And given how many actual pictures I take throughout a session, that may seem like a lot, but it wasn’t.
