Another year with the Mischke family! I see Allesha and most of her men folk on a regular basis through a boys book club we are both apart of, but it doesn’t hit me until their family picture time, that these boys are growing and becoming more mature. Ben was just a little guy when I started photographing their family and now look at him! He’s half the size of his dad! And Brad is a tall guy!

Sarah reached out to me in early spring to book a family session with her her family and in-laws, as a gift to her mother in-law for Mothers Day. I thought that was the sweetest thing ever. Also something the matriarch of the VanBenthusyen family would cherish for years to come.
I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve photographed the Johnson family. We’re maybe up to number 5?. They have been one of my biggest supporters of my business since the beginning. The last couple of years we’ve gotten together for their family pictures it’s either been freezing for the month of October or swealtering. This year, it was almost perfect weather.
I love trying new places with my families for their sessions. Lisa recommended Afton State Park for their upcoming family session and I was stoked to try it out! I hadn’t had time to check it out prior to their session due to being backed up from my eye surgery and various other things. I’m glad that Lisa and her family had went before to check it out and find good spots for their session!
Katie and I were next door neighbors almost my entire growing up years. The first year we lived in the house next to Katie and her family, we were invited to a block party. And that year, the kids put on a talent show for the adults.
Last year I met Kayleigh and her adorable family of 3 when her mama booked a session with me while they were visiting Kayleigh, Taylor and Miles from Indiana. This year I got to meet Taylor’s family at another session with Kayleigh and her menfolk.
