What happens when two people from the same hometown, different schools, but the same friend circle fall in love and have 3 adorable children? You get the Achmans. Yes, that’s right. Andy and Irene are both from New Ulm – my hometown too!- have been friends for forever but fell in love while they were both finishing up their college education. I’ve known Andy since, what, 1st grade (?) and Irene and I belonged to the same sorority in college.

Their session was filled with quick changes and issues that were kind of out of our control. To start, we were to have the session at Schell’s Brewery, it was closed. We went to the State Park in town. There were a million bugs flying around. My camera somehow stopped working for me. One of the kiddos wiped out on the gravel and skinned her knee. BUT through all of the mishaps and change of plans, I had a great time hanging out with them and getting some fabulous photos for them to cherish in years to come!
