Lola’s senior session at the Japanese Peace Garden felt like stepping into a little pocket of magic. From the moment we arrived, the trees were bursting with color, creating the most peaceful and visually stunning backdrop for her senior photos. Every corner of the garden added something special, and it could not have been a better setting for a senior as creative and thoughtful as Lola.
One of my favorite parts of this session was that Lola brought along her own artwork to feature in her photos. I absolutely love when seniors incorporate something meaningful into their session, and her art was such a beautiful reflection of who she is. Including personal details like this makes senior portraits feel authentic and timeless, and it allows each session to tell a story that is completely unique.
The Japanese Peace Garden offered so much variety, from vibrant foliage to quiet, serene spaces that perfectly complemented Lola’s calm confidence. She moved through the session with ease, and every image captured both her creativity and her personality in a way that felt natural and genuine.
Sessions like this are the reason I love senior photography. When seniors show up ready to be themselves and bring pieces of their world with them, the experience becomes so much more meaningful. Lola’s session was a reminder that the best senior photos are the ones that reflect exactly who you are in this season of life.
