Welcome to our journal, where we share recent sessions, our tips, and bits of our life. When we aren't photographing we're improving our home, hanging out with our kids, and reading. We adore working with joyful seniors and families and can't wait to work with you!
Inspiration for a beautiful life
When this sweet family’s mama reached out to me to hire me to photograph her and her family, she had no idea that I was also a homeschooling mama of three, just like her (except she’s got another one on the way!). I was very much excited to meet another homeschooling mama and her family. […]

Amanda, Paul and I have known each other since college. Amanda and I were in the same sorority and Paul belonged to a fraternity within the greek organization at our school. Amanda has boys that are roughly the same age as mine and so it was no surprise how much they reminded me how my […]

The Mills family met me at a new-to-me location for their family photo session. I am so glad we tried this place because it is so beautiful here. The light was just perfect and buttery that it made their photos look more beautiful. Thanks again Mills family!

The Peters family is a dear family to me. They belonged to the same church as my family and also homeschools their children. Their youngest kiddo became fast friends with my oldest. We met in Jordan by a beautiful waterfall park to have their family pictures.

The Lowe family is becoming one of my most favorite families ever. Kjersten and her hubby both used to work at the grocery store that my hubby and I worked at in college. They LOVE Harry Potter about as much as I do. And, they’re hilarious. ALL OF THEM. We met at Whitetail Woods for […]

Allesha and her menfolk I swear are the most kind and polite family I’ve ever worked with. Her boys remind me a lot of my own in their silliness and their love of Minecraft. I love how much they are willing to be even more silly when I ask them to be to get some great shots of their family being who they are.

There’s something extra special about capturing moments for families who are not only wonderful clients but also dear friends. That’s exactly how I felt during my recent fall mini session with the Moe family—Jason, Melissa, Grayson, Elijah, Rowan, and the ever-adorable Joah (affectionately known as “Joah Moah”). This sweet, fun-loving crew has been part of our church family for a couple of years, and getting to photograph them is always a treat.

Emily H.’s senior session was one for the books! I’ve had the privilege of photographing several members of her friend group this year, and when it was her turn, I knew we were going to have an amazing time. From her involvement in high school theater, choir, and mock trial, to her love for baseball and dream of becoming a sports agent, Emily is the kind of person who brings passion and energy to everything she does. Her senior session had all the right vibes—fun, unique, and full of personality.

I had the pleasure of photographing Parker, a senior from Farmington High School, during her September senior session in the charming town of Northfield. Parker is hoping to pursue a career in fashion merchandising after graduation, so I knew this session was going to be special—not only did we have to capture her personality and beauty, but we also wanted to bring her dreams and interests to life through the images.

As a mom I know how much your children grow faster than you can imagine. I also know that your time is precious. I promise your photo experience with me will be frustration-free.
I fell in love with taking pictures when my oldest was just a baby and would document all the little moments of him growing up. I turned my hobby into a full time job and I wouldn't change it for the world.
I send out just a few emails annually and will never share your email address.
