This time of year is crazy busy at local parks with the beautiful trees changing their colors, for photographers and their clients, because everyone wants family pictures done with those color, more so on the weekends. I met the Mills family at Ritter Farm Park on a Sunday and I got really nervous because the parking lot was packed with cars not only with photogs and their clients but also people who just wanted to enjoy the park.

The Williams family was a winner of silent auction donation I had given to a local youth baseball group from this summer. I was so excited to meet this family that I showed up at Ritter Farm Park super early. Thankfully it was a gorgeous night to hang out in my car without melting while the a/c was off.

One should know that having lived in Minnesota for the most of their life, that just because the autumnal equinox has happened and the leaves have just started to change, does not mean that autumn temps are present. As was the case with Gavin’s senior session at Ritter Farm Park this September.

I met up with Payton and his mama at Ritter Farm park early Saturday for a warm yet beautiful morning at one of my favorite parks in the area.

Allesha and her menfolk I swear are the most kind and polite family I’ve ever worked with. Her boys remind me a lot of my own in their silliness and their love of Minecraft. I love how much they are willing to be even more silly when I ask them to be to get some great shots of their family being who they are.
