When Erika and I began planning for Autumn’s 4 year pictures she wanted to have this cute set up with a bunch of candy and rainbow and bright colors. We planned it for the end of April. It wouldn’t be too hot or too cold, we were going to borrow a fellow photog’s at home studio.
Then Erika had this massive accident that caused a break in one or both of her feet. So we had to postpone, for obvious reasons.
After her foot started to heal, we chatted about rescheduling and she came up with a better idea for Autumn’s session. A wagon full of her stuffed animals.
This little cutie showed up in this most adorable dress and pig tails that screamed Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Erika had one special request for the shoot. At some point they wanted to change outfits with what she came in, with this very special blue dress that was from her (Autumn’s) great-grandma, Mabel – which is 100 years old. Of course I couldn’t say no to that!
The best part of this session was that Autumn kept saying, I love you, to me and dishing out hugs. Too adorable. I love working with this kid and I look forward to more sessions with her as she grows!
