Inspiration for a beautiful life
What an adorable family!! I mean, look at how cute they all are in their coordinating outfits! I just love the little pops of color from dad, Gerrad and little Adalyn’s dress. ? I was afraid that with most of the colors from the trees being almost non-exsistant this late in October, that their outifits would blend in, but they didn’t. I feel like stood out more with out the extra colors from the trees and it probably helped that it was an overcast day.

The last couple of years we’ve gotten together for their family pictures it’s either been freezing for the month of October or swealtering. This year, it was almost perfect weather.

I just LOVE the outfits that the Daly family showed up for their downton Farmington family session last month. I loved how it is very chic and would look great on Christmas cards. I’ve done a few senior sessions downtown Farmington before but never a family session and it was so much fun with Marie and her menfolk.

Which is why I was so excited when Ava’s mom was on board with doing Ava’s senior session there.

Last year I photographed one of the sweetest, and cutest families that I have ever met. You can go back and read about this family here(https://stephanienewmanphotography.com/2021/10/26/rendell-family-session-farmington-mn/). Now picture me this year, when mama Anna reached out to do a session in Lakeville again, but with just kids. All her kiddos, and all her siblings kiddos. Together. In all their cuteness. I was pumped.

Jaden’s session at Whitetail Woods started off not so great. He and his mom got lost on the way to the park, and got his car, that he wanted in pictures, full of dirt. But that didn’t sour his attitude for the session, which was good because I would have been so flustered and angry!

This time of year is crazy busy at local parks with the beautiful trees changing their colors, for photographers and their clients, because everyone wants family pictures done with those color, more so on the weekends. I met the Mills family at Ritter Farm Park on a Sunday and I got really nervous because the parking lot was packed with cars not only with photogs and their clients but also people who just wanted to enjoy the park.
